Custom manufacturing in GRC and FRP

Architectural products rarely come in standard sizes. At our facility in Bangalore, each product is developed around your drawings, from the mould to the finished piece.

What you can customise

Custom work splits into two kinds of decision: how the product looks, which is yours to make, and how it is made, which we work out with you.

You decide how it looks

  • Overall size and proportions
  • The profile of a cornice or moulding
  • The pattern of a jali or relief panel
  • The form of a dome, arch or column
  • The surface finish

We work out how it's made

  • Which material suits the location
  • How large pieces divide into sections that can be cast and lifted
  • Where joints fall
  • How each piece fixes to the building
  • How pieces are packed and transported to site

Mould development

Every custom product starts with a mould shaped from your design. We develop moulds from drawings, sketches or a sample piece.

Once a mould exists, identical pieces can be cast from it. That keeps a run of balusters, cornices or panels consistent, and makes repeat orders match the first.

Complex forms such as domes and large panels may need moulds made in several parts, so the finished piece can be released cleanly and handled safely.

How GRC and FRP are made

Both materials are produced at our facility in Bangalore, Karnataka. Watch the stages for each, or choose one.

Typical stages. The exact method depends on the piece.

How a project runs

The same six stages apply whether you need one dome or a full run of facade panels.

  1. Enquiry

You send drawings, photos or a sample, with sizes, quantities, site location and timeline.

  2. Proposal

We suggest a material and finish, confirm what can be made, and send a quote.

  3. Design development

Dimensions, sections, joints and fixings are worked out and agreed with you or your architect.

  4. Mould making

A custom mould is developed for each new design.

  5. Casting and finishing

Pieces are made, cured, finished and checked against the agreed details.

  6. Supply and installation

Pieces are packed and delivered to site, and installed on projects where installation is offered.

Fabrication, supply and installation

We fabricate and supply finished products ready for fixing on site. Larger items, such as domes, can be supplied in sections for assembly on site.

On-site installation is available on some projects. If you need it, mention it when you request a quote, along with the site location and access.
